I had a great compliment today. I wore a new dress that's a bit more form-fitting than my normal attire. But someone at work told me that I look good. After I mentioned how I'm having trouble losing those last ten pounds (btw, why can't I just shut up & take a compliment???). I immediately followed that up with "but I'm in a much better position than where I was." And we both agreed that working out is paying off. I feel like I work out like a fiend. Most of the time, I like it. Recently though, I want to be a little lazy. I mean, how long can I keep up with 30 day challenge exercises, strength, PiYo, and running. The organization alone is dizzying. That's another topic for another day, I suppose. For now, I wanted to brag a little and have something to look back on when I'm feeling a little lazy and remember: working out, especially running, is paying off.
I firmly believe that fitness and well being is a journey. I love strength training and running. I tend to eat clean, and I'm currently practicing flexible dieting (IIFYM)!
