I was super excited to be chosen to review the Bulu Box. I received one box worth of healthy stuff in the mail in exchange for my review.
I like to Movit Movit...
I was seriously excited to try these energy gummies from Movit that were in my box. I even scoped it before and after my long run of 10 miles. Here I am eating the gummies in my car (this is seriously riveting video which you should totally watch).
Then I ran, I ran so far away, couldn't get away. But let's throw it back to me for a post-run recap of my thoughts on the Movit gummies.
Scratch that itch
Then the other day, the kids and I were at a neighbor's house and it was all fun and games until I realized I am like cotton candy to a kid at a carnival for a mosquito...irresistible. I had to go home and then soon after, my sweet girl came home because of all of the itches. I started to put some caladryl on and then I remembered had some anti-itch cream in my bulu box. Making me and my girl stop itching? I do love you Bulu. I want to marry you and have little bulu babies. Ok, that might have been a little extreme and my husband would probably object. and it's probably not a recognized union by the state. But oh well. There were some nice samples of Quest Protein powder that I haven't used quite yet. However, my beefcake husband did and said it was good. The only issue he had was that it didn't mix super well with his Blender Ball shaker cup. I actually want to try and make some protein bars or bake with it. Maybe one day (soon...probably next weekend).
I also tried the Mediterra Nutrition Bar in Sundried Tomato and Basil. It was a savory nutrition bar and it was pretty good! Would I buy it again? Maybe. It was definitely a lifesaver as I snacked on something healthy on my 2.5 hour drive I was taking that day.
So, would I actually spend $10 per month?
Yes, I think I might. The gummies are $1.42 a pack if you purchase the 12 pack (for $16.99) and the two packets of Quest Protein Powder come out to be $4.17 (if you purchase the 12 pack for $24.99). The nutrition bar retails for $2.09, so even at that rough estimate, I would spend about $8 (and that's not even considering the retail price of the individual packets of gummies or protein powder which is more expensive. While I'm not hyped up for the fiber powder that was also included, I definitely think I'll be trying Bulu out again.
Sharing is Caring
And I'm so excited because you can try Bulu out and save 50% on a three month subscription! Heck, that's such a good deal, I'm gonna use it too! Just use the code: SWEATPINK and fall in love with Bulu too.
I firmly believe that fitness and well being is a journey. I love strength training and running. I tend to eat clean, and I'm currently practicing flexible dieting (IIFYM)!
