So, I feel like I want to do another whole30, which because I didn't break it down for you before, is in simple terms, no dairy, no legumes, no sugar, and no grains for 30 days. But then I'm thinking, I've got my daughter's birthday next Sunday, and we'll have Super Bowl treats and then there will be a retirement party for some folks...maybe in February, I don't know. As I wrote all of those things out, I think, ya know what? I survived mothereffing thanksgiving, my most favorite holiday, and my mom's birthday doing the whole 30 before, I can survive these things too. It just takes planning. Oh and not to sound like a lush, but I'll miss my St. Michaels Winery Gollywobblers. But, it's not like it's for a lifetime. It's for 30 days. I can do that. I feel much better having written this all out. Thanks you guys. I went from hitting the snooze button to hitting the reset button in one post! Yay me!
Oh and even if I fall off of the whole30 wagon, that's okay. It's a journey (as cliche as it sounds, it's true). I can hop right back on the next day. By the way, if you are interested in doing the whole30 (or 21 day sugar detox), I highly recommend the daily email subscriptions. They cost about $15 for whole30 (& I think it's free for 21 day sugar detox, but you'll want to verify that). I think they're worth it because I like the daily support & accountability.
With that, I'll say live long and prosper. I can see you shaking your head, it's okay...I shook mine too.
